Why I chose to work in Arboriculture:
I became an Arborist because I enjoy working outdoors and learning from trees and other creatures in the environment every day.
My Favourite Tree:
My favourite tree in Hong Kong is the Cotton tree (Bombax ceiba), as it has a very straight and tall trunk, which is called “Hero Tree” in Chinese. My favourite tree in Vancouver is the Western Red Cedar, with its strong and aromatic scent when being worked.
