Why I chose to work in arboriculture
A career in Arboriculture is one that is always changing and growing similar to the ecosystems that we maintain. This is both challenging and rewarding. There are opportunities to learn new things and evolve with the changing environment as new information is presented. I love being part of an amazing team of people who really care for our environment and who also contribute to the collective, positive difference we continue to make every day.
My favourite tree
Common name Saucer Magnolia, Latin name Magnolia x soulangeana – I love this tree because of the beautiful blooming pink and purple flowers that come each Spring. It reminds me of nature’s timeless cycle of renewal and priceless beauty.
