Duration: Approximately 8 hours, intelligently divided into 4 hours inside for theoretical learning and 4 hours outside for practical skills training.
Equipment Requirements:
Personal Protective Equipment (chaps rated at 3600 FPM threshold speed or greater, hard hat with face screen, ear and eye protection, steel-toed boots). If you don’t have chaps, hardhat with face screen, or hear protection, let us know! we can supply these.
Your chainsaw and maintenance tools. While we can supply a limited number of chainsaws and chaps, we encourage participants to use familiar equipment for optimal comfort and efficiency.
Chainsaw Operation and Safe Practices Curriculum:
Covering everything from Personal Protection Equipment to Cutting Techniques (Basic and Advanced), our curriculum ensures a comprehensive understanding of chainsaw operation and safety.
Certificate of Achievement:
Testing and assessment provide timely feedback, and all successful candidates scoring 70% or higher receive a certificate of achievement, acknowledging their commitment to safe chainsaw operation.
