At BC Plant Health Care, arboriculture is our passion. As lifelong learners, passionate educators, and environmental stewards with years of practical experience, we are committed to teaching others how to maintain and preserve trees in the urban landscape. From introducing landscape professionals and homeowners with a general interest to proper tree pruning and planting practices, to raising the next generation of arborists, to teaching municipal parks employees how to safely operate chainsaws, we’ve carefully crafted our Education & Training program to suit a variety of needs.
Our courses are designed to introduce, train, and educate participants of all skill levels in modern arboriculture concepts and practices.

Because our focus is on crafting the best learning experience, we ensure optimum student-to-teacher ratios by limiting enrolment.
Our Facility
Our purpose-built training facility is an inspiring place to learn. Incorporating “green” design principles, it uniquely houses a climbing tree, spar-pole log, six rope access stations, and a full range of industry tools, offering unparalleled learning opportunities. We also have an arboretum showcasing a living collection of over 100 different tree and plant species, where participants can learn first-hand about various species and pruning practices.
While our in-house facility offers an enhanced learning experience, we also deliver on-site training, bringing our full-service courses directly to our clients in the setting that suits you best.
