Aerial lift operations are among the highest-risk activities in arboriculture. A single lapse in inspection, setup, or emergency response can turn a routine day into a critical incident. This course gives you the knowledge, skills, and hands-on practice to operate safely, protect your crew, and respond effectively when it matters most.
What This Course Covers
From pre-trip inspection to aerial rescue, this one-day intensive covers every stage of safe aerial lift operation. You will learn to inspect and set up your equipment, operate lift controls from both the ground and bucket stations, establish a compliant worksite, and respond to emergencies with confidence. Training aligns with WorkSafeBC OHS Regulations and ANSI Z133.

Daily inspection and the DVIR
Outrigger deployment

Fall arrest system fit and inspection

Our instructors are working arborists with deep field experience and a direct understanding of the hazards you face every day. Training takes place at our purpose-built facility in Surrey, designed to simulate real-world aerial lift scenarios.
