A wood chipper is one of the most common pieces of equipment on a tree crew, and one of the easiest to get seriously hurt on when operators aren't properly trained. This half-day course builds safe, confident operators, whether it's their first day on a chipper or their hundredth.

This course provides theoretical and practical training to safely operate, inspect, and maintain brush chippers, in line with WorkSafeBC and industry standards. It's built for every learning style with a strong emphasis on hands-on practice, so your team walks away with real working knowledge, not just a manual they skimmed.

Equipment & Facility Requirements:

This course requires a wood chipper hooked up to a vehicle and a supply of brush to chip.

Maintenance tools (grease gun, socket set) are also used as part of the course.
